Title:AVP – Equities Product Control
The Equities Product Control Team is seeking an AVP to support the trade validation control function for the Equity Volatility desks. The AVP will also assist in streamlining the review process across vanilla and structured equity derivatives by participating in the migration of the new deal review process to a new workflow system. The AVP will be involved in identifying, addressing, and resolving control gaps related to trade bookings in trading and back office systems. The role will involve a high level of interaction with other infrastructure areas including Middle Office and P&L Production, and periodic interaction with the businesses. The firm is seeking a candidate with a strong background in evaluating and implementing controls, as well as experience supporting a trading organization in achieving maximum efficiency in its operations. Main Duties The analyst's core responsibilities will include: Daily OTC and Structured trade validation Ongoing review of trade validation workflow and implementation of process improvements Month-end General Ledger reconciliation and close Ad hoc projects / investigations /development of new tools Requirements 4-6 years of the following: ·Equity derivatives product knowledge ·Prior experience in any of the following: trade booking and support, daily P&L reconciliation, or valuation ·Process improvement and infrastructure enhancement experience B.A./B.S. or equivalent in a quantitative field Strong PC Skills, particularly Excel Leadership skills Excellent verbal and written presentation skills Quick learner A proven innovator Self Starter Attention to detail
